Specifics from the Scandal Report |
The Absolute Poker online casino poker scandal has literally rocked the foundation of internet gambling as this is the largest scale cheat anyone has pulled off in the internet gambling industry. The AP poker consultant exploited $800,000 in the AP poker rooms over a 40 day period. Once Tokwiro Enterprises, the company that wholly owns AP, caught wind of the cheating scandal, the company has focused on some major public relations to maintain the current player base and to restore goodwill with the online casino poker players that were cheated by AP consultant.
As part of the company’s strategy for overcoming the scandal without losing a large portion of the company’s online casinos player base, Tokwiro has consistently released public reports of the investigation findings. The latest report contains many more specifics than the investigation had previously uncovered.
The report indicated that the AP consultant used the following names in the AP online casino poker rooms: Doubledrag, Graycat, Payup, Potripper, Steamroller, Supercard 55 and Romnaldo. Additional details in the report indicated that the investigation is ongoing, and that outsiders from the online casinos gambling company are investigating the cheating scandal. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission is involved in the investigation and they commissioned Gaming Associates to cull through the large amounts of data, and to analyze the many poker hands that the AP consultant played while cheating the AP online casino poker players.
And to further assure internet poker players that gaming at AP is safe, the report emphasizes that the security breach that allowed the cheat to occur has been fixed and that the consultant no longer works for AP. |
