Titan Poker is already one of the top online casinos poker gambling sites in the world – the site boasts some of the largest prize pools and concurrent player bases, and now the site is moving aggressively into the land poker gambling industry. Titan Poker regularly supports local and international online casinos poker tournaments by sending qualifying players to the events, but the upcoming Eurocity Poker Tour (ECPT) is the first time that Titan Poker will actually sponsor the event – a turning point for the site and a move that will certainly add prestige and brand recognition to Titan.
Titan Poker is hoping that this tournament event will be the first of many that the site sponsors – and pending the success of the ECPT, Titan will host the event annually. A spokesperson for the online casinos poker group noted that "At the rate of [Titan’s] expansion, and considering the number of players [the company is] sending to tournaments every month, it only makes sense that Titan Poker should take it to the next level.
The ECPT will be held at a hotel in Madrid and this year at least the event will be for an exclusively small number of entrants – just 200 players can qualify for the ECPT. The online casinos poker group though plans to host this event in style, the 200 winning players will have full prize packages including airfare, accommodations, and other special incentives. The promotion is anticipated to add a new level of excitement to the Titan Poker tournaments and satellite events. The spokeswoman noted, "We are already making a huge presence at [land] tournaments. Now that Titan Poker is the sponsor, it will just be more visible!"
